Key Requirements

To qualify for the Enrolled Nurse Grade 1 role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualification: Enrolled Nurse Certificate, eligible for registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
  • Registration: Proof of current SANC registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Skills and Competencies: Effective communication, basic writing skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of nursing care processes, ethical frameworks, quality assurance, patient safety, and infection control. Familiarity with legal frameworks such as the Ideal Hospital Realization and Office of the Health Standard Compliance is also required.

Duties and Responsibilities

As an Enrolled Nurse Grade 1, you will be responsible for:
