Job Overview:
This is a Graduate Software Engineer position within the Technology Development and Engineering department, based in Cape Town. As a graduate, you will work on developing new technical software systems, enhancing existing systems, and driving operational efficiencies. You will have the opportunity to innovate and problem-solve in a real-world environment, contributing to the technological advancement of one of the most esteemed names in mining.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing new technical software solutions for De Beers Marine operations.
- Maintaining and enhancing current systems to improve operational efficiency.
- Problem-solving and contributing individually to projects at both theoretical and practical levels.
- Potential travel to Namibia offshore installations for commissioning and software support.

Key Qualifications:
- A recent BSc in Computer Science (Honours) or a related degree with a focus on Software Engineering.
- Completed your degree within the last 2 years.
- No more than 2 years of relevant work experience.

- Willingness to travel for commissioning and support roles.
