Position: Senior Shift Manager

As a Senior Shift Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all facets of inbound, inventory, and outbound operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring seamless and efficient processes within our distribution center.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Relevant Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing a warehouse or distribution center.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), High Jump, Bomm, and camera systems.
  • Capability to work shift patterns.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in retail or warehouse environments.
  • Proven staff management expertise.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adequate picking staff and appropriate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) availability.
  • Oversee efficient and timely completion of picking and administrative tasks.
  • Report on shift attendance and performance metrics.
  • Manage stock, receiving, replenishment, reverse logistics, and Chep pallets.
  • Take full responsibility during night shifts when scheduled.
  • Supervise inventory management.
  • Oversee staff and management supervision.
  • Update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide necessary training.
  • Enhance management skills and plan for succession.
  • Liaise with Resolve Planning and transporters.
  • Control recycling processes.
